Using Ametrine in Jewellery & Care Tips | Mohs Scale 7: Suitable for rings, pendants, earrings and beads. Durable enough for most jewellery. We like the larger stones for dressier pieces where the sharp contrast between purple and yellow creates a striking, unique look. Ultrasonic cleaners are generally safe but avoid them if the stone has fractures or inclusions.

👀 Did you know? Ametrine is one of the few naturally occurring bi-colour gemstones, and both colours are chemically identical quartz, just coloured differently by the same element.
