Using Chrysoprase in Jewellery & Care Tips | Mohs Scale 6.5–7: Suitable for rings, pendants, earrings and beads. Tough enough for most jewellery styles but avoid heavy-wear rings as it can scratch. We love Chrysoprase for its bright apple-green colour, it looks especially striking in silver settings where the contrast makes the colour pop. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners should be avoided as Chrysoprase can be porous, warm soapy water and a soft cloth is the safest way to keep it clean.
