Using Rhodolite Garnet in Jewellery & Care Tips | Mohs Scale 7–7.5: Suitable for rings, pendants, earrings and beads, tough enough for most jewellery styles. Rhodolite’s rich purplish-red colour looks fantastic in both modern and antique-style settings, especially when paired with yellow or rose gold to enhance its warmth. Ultrasonic cleaning is generally safe, but if the stone has visible inclusions or fractures we’d suggest the safe route of warm soapy water and a soft brush.
👀 Did you know? The name Rhodolite comes from the Greek word "rhodon," meaning “rose,” referring to the gem’s distinct pinkish hue a colour not commonly seen in other garnets.
