Using Rose Quartz in Jewellery & Care Tips | Mohs Scale 7: Suitable for rings, pendants, earrings and beads, durable enough for everyday wear. Rose Quartz is most often seen as cabochons, but we think it looks especially nice faceted where its soft pink colour can catch the light. We wouldn’t advise ultrasonic cleaning as inclusions can easily hide within the stone’s cloudy appearance, the safest way is warm soapy water and a soft brush.

👀 Did you know? Some rare specimens of Rose Quartz can show asterism (a star effect) when cut as cabochons, caused by light reflecting off needle-like inclusions aligned within the stone. We may even have one or two 👀
