Using Turquoise in Jewellery & Care Tips | Mohs Scale 5–6: Turquoise is relatively soft, so it’s best used in pendants, earrings and beads, or in rings that are well-protected. Its colour is instantly recognisable and works beautifully in both silver and gold settings, especially when paired with natural veining that gives each stone its own character. Clean gently with a soft damp cloth only, avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners as Turquoise is porous and sensitive to chemicals.
