Using Zircon in Jewellery & Care Tips | Mohs Scale 6–7.5: Zircon has an incredible sparkle that rivals diamond, which makes it perfect for rings where it can really show off, but it does need a little care as it can chip more easily than its hardness suggests. It also looks great in pendants and earrings where it’s better protected. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners as Zircon is heat-sensitive and often contains natural inclusions despite its clarity.
